Proceeding through the Console:File=>Execute menu, i get the same, without console crash.
However, after that, forthcoming commands in console produce no output, no error, are not performed.

But executing the same script through Scinotes or exec() works without issue and output.
The issue comes only through the Console:File=>Execute menu  action.
