Samuel,
I don't want to go into a long winded argument about what hardware manufacturers or OS's should do with HiDPI resolution. Clearly you have not used a
machine with a hiDPI display and so it is pointless for me to try and make a point to you. But more and more laptops are adopting the "retina"-like
display (3200x1800 on 13-inch screen, e.g.), so I hope the Scilab developers do something to improve its GUI on such displays, without simply
convincing themselves that such displays are "meaningless" or only meant for "bionic eyes".
Apart from that, and without going into polemics, the fact that the height of the cells in the file and variable browsers do not scale to fit large
font-sizes is a real bug (not simply an enhancement request), as is the whole help-browser issue where the text overlaps and becomes unreadable and
rearranges itself when zoomed in and out once (Ctrl+ and Ctrl-).
