Scilab 5.4.1 was OK, I agree with Samuel.

Scilab 5.5.0 ==> error message:
 !--error 21 
Index invalide.
at line      48 of function permute called by :  
at line      92 of function %hm_sum called by :  
at line      48 of function mean called by :  
a = ones(1,2,3,4);m = mean(a,4)


Scilab 5.5.1/5.5.2 ==> wrong result (seems to be introduced by fix of bug #13409).
