The CGlab CGAL ATOMS module is made for this kind of needs. You will noticeably find
convex_hull_2() and convex_hull_3() to compute the convex hull of a set of points
defined in the 2D plane or in the 3D space, and much more.
CGLAB is available for Scilab 5.5 as well as for Scilab 6.0
