<pre>About %nan in margins:
I noticed the same in a particular plot.
The problem is that it occurs randomly
(the same script does not always produce the same results: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't).
When it does not work, nothing is drawn in the window.
The problem occurs even if the figure "visible" field is "on"
(but with the "immediate_drawing" field set to off).
The axes "margins" value after the failing plot is: [%nan,0.27,0.125,%nan].
It contains %nan and one value is 0.27 which is not the usual default value (0.125).
The "margins" field was not explicitly set by the script.</pre>
