<pre>The full resolution of your hardware supposes that you are watching your 13" screen at a distance being the human punctum proximum, ~20 cm.
If your working distance is bigger, your eyes ignore your screen resolution.
Your PC should be clever enough to adapt its display resolution according to the geometrical size of the main display device connected to it.</pre>
