<td>none;
however, please execute the attached blinkbug.tcl either
from wish or from scilab, with TK_EvalFile blinkbug.tcl.
In the first case, a tiny text window with a blinking red
cursor will pop up. This is normal.
In the second case, there are two problems:
*the window pops up only if, subsequently, the help browser,
or scipad, are opened, or if figure() is called, or if
return is pressed a second time in the scilab shell window;
*the cursor blinks only as long as there are X events, e.g.
as long as the mouse is moved or text is typed in. This lets
me think that the tcl subprocess has no access to the X
timer (which I suppose, has to be polled in order to realize
the blink)
Thanks, Enrico
