I have committed a small change and have pushed it.
Commit time reported by gitk is 2008-12-22 16:08:24 and I have pushed 
a few minutes later at most:

$ git log -n 3
commit c9d429cf8df92c158433d765e217e518d48e7a68

Either I failed pushing or your explanations about the update time of
