Hello.

Well, the real meaning of my question was in fact about the
continuity of the Gif driver in Scilab 5. Using the Gif 
driver and the xinit/xend combination allows to make Scilab
a silent batch engine, even needing no display to produce
graphs (I am using this feature). So, this is a completely
different thing from exporting a graph already present
on the graphic window, and thus needs to be at the same
level of achievement (i.e. correct font rendering at 90°).
