File open errors during test run.

Hi,

I get a weird error on solaris when trying to do the test run.

test_run([],[], "no_check_error_output")

Every test with dia.ref file will fail in the same way. The files are
at the correct place but that malformed path name is somewhat
suspicious. Either it's missing it's .ref or it's looking at the wrong
place for the result file.

Any insight?
