Plotting, OpenGL, JOGL, MESA and the JSR-231

Hi,

Sorry in advance but I think this post is going to sound chaotic :)

First is there any plan to transition to whatever JOGL evolved into
i.e. JSR-231. (or whatever it is, it's all pretty confusing..)

Second, Is Scilab generally stable when plotting under mesa Xlib
software rendering?

In Solaris/OpenSolaris it actually work but often crash Scilab / Java
/ Xorg... It this a known issue or should I try to investigate a bit
more?
