interrupt hot key

Dear developers,

I "found" a nice hotkey Ctrl+C to interrupt a code, but why isn't it written
in the help or shown in the GUI menu? It would have saved me some time,
since other hotkeys like Alt+C Alt+I do not seem to work effectively.
