Thanks, both of you!  I ended up downloading Master _and_ 5.4.0-alpha-1
and "diff-ed" them.  As of Friday, last, there wasn't much difference
(except in the version spec.)

FYI, I found a fairly serious (crash-causing) stacksize bug in 5.3.3 (git
version) which has probably been around for awhile. I wanted to see if
it went away with the latest, which I have not been following for some
time.
