Hello Antoine,
On my spare time, I maintain the Scilab Fedora package and some of the
dependencies. As a start point, you can reuse existing Fedora spec files
for the missing dependencies.
The needed dependencies seems to be mainly java packages :
--> gcc-gfortran-4.1.2-54.el5.x86_64
--> libxml2-devel-2.6.26-2.1.21.el5_9.3.x86_64
--> pcre-devel-6.6-9.el5.x86_64
--> ncurses-devel-5.5-24.20060715.x86_64
--> lapack-devel-3.0-38.el5.x86_64
--> arpack-devel-3.1.3-1.el5.x86_64
--> jpackage-utils-1.7.3-1jpp.3.el5.noarch
--> 1:java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel-1.6.0.0-1.42.1.11.14.el5_10.x86_64
--> ant-1.6.5-2jpp.2.x86_64
--> mesa-libGL-devel-6.5.1-7.11.el5_9.x86_64
--> jrosetta-1.0.2-1.el5.noarch
--> xmlgraphics-commons-1.3.1-1.el5.noarch
--> tcl-devel-8.4.13-6.el5.x86_64
--> tk-devel-8.4.13-5.el5_1.1.x86_64
--> ocaml-3.09.3-1.el5.x86_64
--> docbook-style-xsl-1.69.1-5.1.noarch
--> checkstyle-4.1-4jpp.1.el5.noarch
--> gettext-devel-0.17-1.el5.x86_64
--> fftw3-devel-3.2.2-3.el5.x86_64
--> matio-devel-1.3.3-3.el5.x86_64
--> suitesparse-devel-3.1.0-1.el5.x86_64
--> hdf5-devel-1.6.10-1.el5.x86_64
