However, it does not launch, just like the nightly builds. When I'm at the src/scilab/scilab directory and type "bin/scilab" I get the message on the console:</div>

</div>Yes, we started a new development cycle (Scilab 5.5), we took the<br>
liberty to change some elements in the packaging of the application,<br>
causing the compilation chain to fail. It is why the nightly builds have<br>
not been published recently.<br>

They should be back soon (maybe next week).<br>
