Hi,
I wrote the ideas and roadmap down for three additional Scilab GSOC
projects I could mentor here:
Better Scilab Interactive Visualization:
http://wiki.nosdigitais.teia.org.br/SummerOfCode2012#Scilab_Interactive_Visualization
Scilab Fast and Flexible Image (Raster) Display
http://wiki.nosdigitais.teia.org.br/SummerOfCode2012#Scilab_Fast_and_Flexible_Image_.28Raster.29_Display
And the one I've already sent, SIP + Scilab (leptonica API)
http://wiki.nosdigitais.teia.org.br/SummerOfCode2012#SIP_.2B_Scilab
Let me know what you think. I already have 4 (supposedly) good
students working on an application to be submitted to Scilab through
the GSOC website. These four students can be directly mentored by me,
as they are physically located in nearby places.
Do you agree with the above titles? Should they go ahead with the application?
Please let me know of anything else that should help them in the application.
I am already getting them to start compiling and modifying the scilab
source code.
Best regards,
Ricardo Fabbri
