I've just downloaded Scilab 5.1 to see how it works with Russian localization. I found out two issues: 1) Not all menu items are translated although they are really translated in launchpad, e.g., "&File" should be "&????" in console window, but it is displayed as original "&File" 2) Alt+Key shortcuts don't work in Russian locale, e.g., pressing Alt +"?" doesn't open "&??????" menu as expected Please explain what version of Russian localization passed to Scilab 5.1? Is it possible in launchpad to see what translated items were approved and what were not? Thank a lot for support free educational software. We are going to release minor releases like 5.1.1. > Please explain what version of Russian localization passed to Scilab > 5.1? We synchronized from launchpad a few days ago (last monday). > Is it possible in launchpad to see what translated items were > approved and what were not? We took the last one. I believe we should think about a better solution for the work on the localization. Maybe appoint a localization leader per language which would say "It is OK for me before a release". Is it possible to mark translated items in green colour after synchronisation? It would make clear which messages were synced and which were not. > > Is it possible in launchpad to see what translated items were > > approved and what were not? > We took the last one. > I believe we should think about a better solution for the work on the > localization.
