<p>Thank you. After coping localization from Linux to Windows I got behavior just like you described. Perfect codepage in console ('cmd') window and troubles in Java console. But menu in main window looks good. Other Java menus look good too.</p>
<p> I am attaching screen shot where two scilab versions running. Interesting thing with scipad: I can't enter comment in russian but can copy/paste it from regular notepad.</p>

<br>I fail to build windows version with Russian localization with MS Visual Studio Express. If someone can build it then I'll check it on Windows with great pleasure. But now I am going back to Linux where I have working Scilab 5.0...<br>
