Kong,

This is a bit off-topic with respect to your question, but for my
information, what features would you look for in Scilab that are not in a
package such as Maxima? I seem to recall in a post some time back there
are hooks to Mathematica from Scilab, but I could be wrong.

Just Curious,

Hi,

I am wondering if scilab supports symbolic simulation and proving
environment?
ex:
(a + b + c) == (b + c + a)
(if a then b else c) == (if (~a) then b else c)

Thanks,
Kong Susanto
