diff between 4.12 and 5

Hi,

Size of the version 5.0 is several times larger than version 4.1?
Is there really  a difference between versions 5.0 and 4.1?
Differences in  user  programs, documentations or graphical  interfaces?


It does not seem to me that there is really  big difference?
