Scilab 5.2.0 beginner question

Hi,
I am a beginner and I am trying to install Scilab 5.2.0 on Fedora 12. I get
an error saying "Could not load JVM dynamic library (libjava)" and "Scilab
cannot open JVM library". I would really appreciate any help on setting this
up...
