Yes, you will be happy to know that Scilab 5.2 will have this feature.
The beta1 already have this feature. Its supports LaTeX and MathML.

You will find a screenshoot.

The beta1 does not have it but, thanks to a Scilab contributor, Calixte
(who is also the dev of the LaTeX/MathML feature), will have also a new
function called prettyprint.
