Scipad can't open ascii file?

I'm working with Scilab 5.1.1 for Linux and XP.

When I try to open an ascii file in Scipad it displays an error message box:

"Application Error"
Error: invalid command name, ".scipad.filemenu.debug";

the file is not open and Scipad is blocked.

Scipad for version 5.1 works fine.

Is there some option which can manage this problem?
