Export figure in eps with latex font

Hello,

I do some graphics with latex font in Scilab and this works well.
But when I export them in pdf or eps (to use them in a latex file),  
all the latex charaters (greek letters, exponent, index, etc.) are  
replaced by strange characters like @ or ¡.
I don't know if the problem stems from scilab.
Maybe it is because I work on Mac?
maybe I just need to install the right font?
