problem about scilab 5.2.2 linux version

i am AMAR VIBHANDIK,persuing masters in chem engg.
 sir while doing untar of scilab5.2.2.bin.linux-x86_64.tar.gz error are
coming as

stdin :unexpected end of file
tar:unexpected EOF in archive
tar:error is not recoverable:exiting now

sir plz send me solution of above problem
