Axis ranging from 1 to %inf

Hello,

I would like to plot the value of a variable for an integer control 
parameter (x-axis) ranging from 1 to +Infinity.

As screens are not infinite I would like to plot for let say [1, 200] 
and add a point representing the performance for +Infinity. Ideally 
there would be small symbols to show the discontinuity of the axis and 
of the curve.

Any idea?
