tutorial to plot data 3d

I cannot see a guide to plot data in 3d. For example a data set:

1.1      2.2      3.3
1.2      2.3      3.4
1.3      2.4      3.5
1.4      2.5      4.6

I do not know which command to load the text file (test.dat) into the
program. Where is the documentation to perform this task.
