Scilab Grpahics Window

Dear Scilab users,

Need your help. I just installed Scilab version 5.2.0 using linux openSUSE 11.1. When I execute a plot command, the graphics window pop up but the problem is that it is empty - blank and no plot.

What are the possible problems/fixes? Thanks a lot in advance.
