[scilab-Users] conversion to matlab

Hi, is there a function with the same or similar function to the audiosample function in MATLAB, the help files have turned a blank. here is the code i'm trying to convert from MATLAB, i've converted all except for this last function:

> f = (k-1)*50+1; % First sample in the segment

> L = f + 50; % Last sample in the segment

> segment = audioSample(f:L)

any help would be greatly appreciated.
