[scilab-Users] cant save a file where a multiplication (PROD_f)

Thank you for your efforts,

we use Scilab for university lectures this semester, and we would like
to introduce Xcos to our students for this sake. Unfortunately, at the
moment, as we understand,

(a) the current release version 5.2.2 still suffers from the PROD_f
problem (which we discovered for addition before we realized it should
be the same problem) on a great deal of platforms Linux and Windows as well.

(b) meanwhile, the nightly build versions seemingly do not allow copying
blocks out out the palette browser onto the model window, which appears
even more aggravating to us.

I would be very grateful to anybody who would point the way to a version
which is can be used for academic teaching -- something which we can be
present to our students, preferably binaries.

I think there was a usable version at some point of time, but I cannot
find it at the moment. Can anybody give a hint, somebody who uses Xcos
with success?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Nick
