resizing image

Dear All,
 
First of all i would like to thanks Scilab community for their help
(it's the right place to do it ....).
 
I've a general question concerning figure resizing =>  I would like to
cut borders / I'm not speaking about having a smaller figure (see
attached example)  !!!!
 
 
 ... i don't know if it's possible to do / it but if yes it'll be very
usefull for me (I've decades of images to modify)  !
 
 
 
Does somebedy is experienced on it ?
