Nice to hear that!

Of course. The GSoC is just a way to organise things...
There are many ways to contribute to Scilab:
* Develop new Scilab modules
* Contribute and improve some already existing modules:
http://forge.scilab.org/
* Contribute to the Scilab base code:
	- Help us by fixing bugs (many of them are not hard to fix)
	http://bugzilla.scilab.org/
	- Help us to develop the new upcoming features (the roadmap will
be
soon published)
	- Improve some components (documentation, performances, etc).
etc.

Here is the list of ideas:

We are in touch with the students in order to publish a list of all
Scilab modules developed in the context of the GSoC and their status.
Anyway, most of them reached a good quality and we just need to
"advertise" more their work.

Sure, at the beginning, it would be me and, at first, I will redirect
your questions to a Scilab developer if I cannot answer them.

Sure.
Don't hesitate to ask any question.

Sylvestre
PS: The dev at lists.scilab.org ML is more appropriate for such
discussions ;)
