How to capture max value of a simulation and display it

How do I collect and display the max value during a simulation. Say, I
have a trivial simulation that computes a sine wave over 1 cycle. How do
I define a scilab model that can determine the max value of the sine
wave and display it? The MAX/MIN functions work as a function of the
inputs, not over time...
