Julian,

What a fun idea! The opportunities for image analysis are numerous. From
boundary identification to spatial Fourier transformations, there are many
approaches none the less, tools to perform these tasks. While I can not
tell you any details of the available tool boxes, simplicity has virtues.

Additionally, once you set up some 1D tools for the static cases, 2D
(distance x time) would be very interesting. Watching the development of a
image could be useful in tuning compositions and voltage patterns. And all
of that setup in a design of experiment framework.

I wonder if anyone has developed a DOE framework in Scilab.

Hi

New to sci lab, can it process DNA and protein 1-D electrophoresis images?

cheers

Julian
