Error opening Scinotes in Linux

Hi all,

I'am using Scilab 5.3.0 and I've got an error when I try to open Scinotes on Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx:
--> editor()

error 999
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
while executing a callback

Using 5.2.2 in the same machine editor() work correctly.

Some ideas of what's wrong ? I do not know much of java language.
