[scilab-Users] grid lines on subticks?

As far as I know there is no minor grid in scilab. However the help page 
of the "grid" function (Scilab manual >> Matlab to Scilab Conversion 
Tips > Matlab-Scilab equivalents > G > grid (Matlab function)) provides 
some tips to emulate this.
