scinotes saving issue

Hello,

I cannot save any scinotes file. Whenever I attempt to save and conduct
another activity (i.e. save and execute, save and quit...) the program
merely returns to its original state before I selected that command.  If I
directly try to save I get "The file could not be saved" error. I am running
windows 7.
