Hi,
Actually, parallel_run() *can* be used on Windows. But you are true when
you write that has not the performance effect that we could expect from
a parallel computation.
One way to perform multi-core computations, though, is to use the Intel
MKL, which is shipped with the default Scilab release on this operating
system.
