[Scilab-users] LaTeX mixed with normal string in xtitle

Hello,

is it possible to mix LaTeX and non-LaTeX character string in xtitle?

e.g. something like

scale = 10;
xtitle('foobar', '$x \times$'+string(scale));

does not give the expected result.

Is it a known limitation ?
