[Scilab-users] Cannot open tiff image

Hi,
    I just installed Scilab and SIVP toolbox. Using imread I am able to
open .jpg images but not .tif images. I checked the documentation which
says that imread supports reading .tif images too. Help me out in reading
.tif images.
