In fact, on http://www.reveyrand.fr/SOCKET2.html it says:
 The source code is 100% Scilab and it works whatever your OS (Windows,
Linux, OS X,...)


And on http://atoms.scilab.org/toolboxes/socket_toolbox it also shows OS
X...
