[Scilab-users] setting initial value for a signal

Is there a way to set the initial value of a signal in xcos, as in
<http://www.mathworks.co.uk/help/simulink/slref/ic.html> ?
I searched the 'help' as well as 'mailing list' but couldn't find one. If
this does not exist in scilab, please could one develop it..
