[Scilab-users] fmincon won't work

Hello everyone! I am a new Scilab 5.4.1 user (in Ubuntu 12.04.4).
I installed fmincon 0.3.1-1 using atoms, but when I tried it on the first
help example I obtained a rather weird output:

fval  =    0.

x  = 10^(-318) *    Inf    Inf

Could anyone help me please?
