[Scilab-users] integrals

Hi:
As tim stated before, scilab does numerical calculation of integrals, very usefull for ingeneering problems for example... but does not provide any function for symbolic calculation of integrals. If you really need symbolic computation of an integral, i would recommend you using maxima, or wxmaxima if you are a begginner... There is also a toolbox for doing symbolic calculation trhough maxima in scilab called "scimax", you could try it if you want to do everything in scilab, but i think is a bit outdated.

May i ask you why you need to do a symbolic calculation?
