[Scilab-users] mixing normal and math mode in label

Thank you Samuel and Jean-Yves. The line
      xlabel("$\mbox{fréquence  (h}^{-1})$");
does exactly what I wanted.
A small complement: the first $ must not be followed by a space and the 
last $
must not be preceded by a space.
