[Scilab-users] Ubuntu upgrade just killed GL

I've got my problems sorted -- the saga is in the link below.  In the
end, it seems to only relate to Scilab because Scilab uses OpenGL.

I suspect it's some peculiar corner case involving my combination of
software and hardware.
