[Scilab-users] Scilab is not compatible with latest JAVA

Hi

I have been using Scilab for a decade. Suddenly I updated JAVA for my other project and since then, scilab stopped working saying "To open “this Java application” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime.” In case I downgrade JAVA, scilab works fine while my other software project does not.

Can you please let me know how to activate scilab with java 1.8 - the latest version?
