Is there any way to disable the grid on a surface generated
using plot3d() or similar?<br>

Sometimes it is useful, but when the grid where the data to plot
are defined is too tight the black lines on the surface are way
too invasive and the general appearance is almost black. I would
expect a smooth surface, something like Sgrayplot() but in 3d.<br>
