Hi,
Why do you to use a java layer here ?
COM is only on Windows. This module will be only available on Windows.
why do not use native C/C++ functions to call COM ?
Have you see previous example that I sent about COM server ?

Objet : [gsoc] Re: DCOM interface
sir,
I have a got a good and easy solution. We can implement such a toolbox using
J-Interop (java) (It is very handful), as mentioned on wiki page. Then we
can integrate it with existing code with help ofÂ
GIWS(http://forge.scilab.org/index.php/p/giws/page/GIWS-tutorial/) (a
product of scilab itself). Othe alternative could be JNI.
