hi,

There is no as such reason for suggesting Java, but I started working on
J-Interop about a month back because
http://wiki.scilab.org/Contributor%20-%20DCOM mentioned it. I also found it
very easy to use. I have been working on proposal accordingly. And first
reply from your side was too late for me to restart.

But if you still insist we can use MS Office OLE automation using C++
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/34998/MS-Office-OLE-Automation-Using-C

I read those link but I thought we will be using COM automation.

COM AUTOMATION - A particular usage of Microsoft's COM-based component
software architecture that lets applications expose their internal
functions as COM objects. Called "automation" or "OLE automation," it
enables tasks that are normally selected from menus to be automatically
executed. For example, a small script could be written to extract data from
a database, put it into a spreadsheet, summarize and chart it, all without
manual intervention.

Since I have worked very hard to make my proposal to solve this with
j-interop. Can I submit that proposal and later we can work with VC++.
regards
